The Meadville Lombard Library and Archives provide resources not only to Meadville Lombard students and faculty, but also to religious professionals, members of the broader Unitarian Universalist community, and scholars of all (or no) faiths. Our complete library catalog is accessible to search online and most of our books can be shipped directly to users. Our digital archive is open to all users and new material is added every month.

COVID-19 Protocol for Library & Archives

Updated July 24, 2020

To protect all the different communities of which the library is part, we will be limiting how the library team and our resources interact with the physical world. Currently, all physical access to the library and archives is closed to the public. However, we are now able to circulate both Wiggin Library and I-Share print books through the mail as we did prior to COVID-19. The only difference will be that, due quarantining books for your safety and reduced onsite library staffing for our safety, it will take on average 3 to 7 days longer to receive books in the mail.

In addition, all digital resources remain accessible online, and the library team is still here to answer any questions you have. Email us at library@meadville.eduif you have any questions or need anything you think the library can provide.

Ask a librarian or archivist

Our team of librarians and archivists are ready to help! If you have any questions, please reach out. Our librarians can help you out with account creation, database access, and reference questions. Our archivists can help with accessing archival collections, historical reference, and creating archives at your local congregation.
